    The XXVth International Biometric Conference, will bring together approximately 800 statisticians and others interested in the development and application of statistical and mathematical theory and methods to the biosciences. The meeting program includes oral and poster presentations of methodological advance, applications to specific subject-matter challenges and educational offerings. The 2010 event, held at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and sponsored by the Brazilian and Argentinean Regions of IBS, is the 25th anniversary of the Conference. Special celebratory events are planned.
